Skate Fest has been held the last seven years in late summer at
The Palladium in Worcester,
Massachusetts. The event combines top local and national bands playing
on two stages with top amateur skateboarders and rollerbladers plying their
trades on a half-pipe and street course. Past performers have included
My Chemical Romance, The Used, New Found Glory, Simple Plan, Andrew W.K., Face
to Face, H20, Catch 22, Converge,
Saves the Day, Murphy's Law, Thursday, Glassjaw,
Alkaline Trio, Boy Sets Fire, Taking Back Sunday, Coheed And Cambria, Senses
Fail and many others
In 2005 - Skate Fest was held on Friday September
9th and Saturday September 10th.
